Delivery Information (UK)

We offer three delivery options:

Standard UK Delivery: £4.99. On this service, goods will usually arrive within 14 days of your order reaching us, and often in less than 10. (Please remember that if you posted your order it may have taken up to five days to get here).

Express Delivery: £9.99. This is a next-working-day (not Saturday or Sunday) service for UK mainland and Ulster addresses, provided that you order before 1pm. Orders received after 12.00 will be processed on the next working day, so take one day longer to arrive. If you require an item to be personalised, your order will be delayed by one working day. Service to Scottish highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, other UK Islands (except Isle of Wight) takes two days.
Your package will arrive between 9am and 6pm (may be up to 8pm), and must be signed for on receipt, so please give an address where there will be somebody available to take delivery (perhaps a neighbour/friend, or your workplace if your employer permits this).

If you prefer, you can collect your goods from one of our shops. Please telephone +44 (0)1932 235550 to arrange, as not all products are stocked at all shops all the time. There is no charge for this service.

Delivery Information (Overseas)

We welcome orders from anywhere in the world payable by credit card or sterling cheque. It is very important that we have an e-mail address, or telephone/fax number so that we can contact you if there are any difficulties. Our delivery charges (standard service only) are:

Eire, £11.99
France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, £14
Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, £17

VAT (sales tax) will be deducted from the listed price of your goods where applicable for customers outside the European Union, including those from the Channel Islands.

Payment Information

We are pleased to accept payment from cards operating under the Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Maestro systems, and via Paypal. We are unable to accept payment by American Express. If you would like to pay by cheque, please call us on +44 (0)1932 235550 so that we can reserve your goods until the payment has been processed.

To maintain your security online, all transactional information takes place on our secure server. This advanced encryption system "scrambles" your details before they leave your computer and only makes them legible again when they reach our order processing centre. Requests for payment go directly to your card issuer or Paypal (they may ask you some additional security questions) who then authorise the payment. We do not ever see or store your card details.

Returns and Cancellations - Our Customer Service Guarantee

Shop with Confidence – Wrong size or colour, not as you expected it, or simply changed your mind? No problem, just return the item to us within 90 days and we will exchange it for an alternative or refund you.

Just return the item to us within 90 days of receiving it. It should be unused (you can try clothing/shoes on indoors though) and returned in its original packaging including all accessories and instructions. Your order will include all the necessary paperwork and instructions - simply fill in the form, attach the address label, and return to us at any post office (please ensure you obtain proof of postage). We do not cover the cost of returning the item to us, but will send exchanged goods post-free. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns of personalised items unless they are faulty. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

If your goods arrive faulty or damaged, please call us and we will advise the best course of action.

On the rare occasion that goods develop a manufacturing fault during use and within a reasonable period (typically up to 12 months), please contact us to discuss the issues. We will then advise on the best course of action with a view to arrange repair. If it cannot be repaired we will look to replace it if possible.

Gift Service

We can send your order to a friend or relative anywhere in the world - simply fill in the delivery name and address boxes. We will be pleased to add a message of up to 30 words with the parcel if you wish us to. Please write your message on the "other information" box, or dictate over the phone. Your order confirmation and replacement catalogue will be sent to your address, not included in the parcel. If you wish to send gifts to more than one address, there is no difficulty, but postage will be payable for each separate address.

Is Internet Shopping Safe at Nauticalia?

We treat customer security as an issue of great importance. If you do register we will send you e-mails telling you about exclusive special offers, and preview access to new products and sale prices, even if you don't order now. Also, we will save your address details for quicker ordering in the future.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations

We offer our customers the option to return old electrical and electronic products (WEEE items) on a like-for-like basis when you buy an equivalent item from us. This applies to items that contain electrical or electronic components. For example, if you buy an electronic weather station from us, we will be delighted to take back from you your old electronic weather station and arrange the correct waste disposal of the unit, including correct handling of the electronic components, thus protecting the environment from unnecessary electronic or electrical waste.

An item can be passed to us either at the point of purchase, or within 28 days thereafter. If returning afterwards you will need to show your proof of purchase of the new item. You can do this at one of our shops, or by post to our head office address, Nauticalia Ltd, Ferry Lane, Shepperton, TW17 9LQ either in person or by post/carrier company. Customers wishing to return a WEEE item must pay for any costs incurred in returning the item to us.

Please do not throw electrical equipment (including those items marked with this symbol) in your bin.

This is because:
- Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste.
- If you do not recycle electrical items they will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination - harming wildlife and also human health.
- The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires EC member countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.
Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations
Under the Waste Battery Regulations, Nauticalia now offer a take back scheme for all portable waste batteries. You can return your waste batteries to our head office address, Nauticalia, Ferry Lane, Shepperton, TW17 9LQ, in person during normal office hours. Please do not post such items.
Alternatively, you can find your local waste portable battery recycling facility at Most supermarkets and larger electrical shops that sell batteries will often have collection bins for used batteries, and some town halls and libraries may also have collection points. Most council waste transfer sites (“the tip"/ “the dump”) have battery recycling.

Items containing alcohol and blades are available to customers aged 18 and over. By ordering these items, you confirm that you are over 18, and that we may contact you to verify this.
