Our range of brass signs is acknowledged to be the most extensive in the world. Brass signs were originally designed for use on ships, and we are now able to offer more than 170 different brass signs. 

Nauticalia's brass signs feature names, epithets, directions, sayings and other novelty messages and as well as signs for ships and boats, we have brass signs suitable for private houses, hotels, restaurants, bars, public buildings and offices.

The degree of care and individual attention devoted to each brass sign is meticulous. Each plate is hand-polished to give a time-aged appearance and then laquered heavily to retard tarnishing. The typeface generally used is clearface, although the size of lettering and size varies according to the message. All our brass signs are approximately 5mm thick, with lettering 2mm deep into a contrasting dulled background.
