The uses for a nightsight are numerous: on-board to spot unlit buoys or see down a canal tunnel; at home to watch nocturnal wildlife of look for intruders. On starry or moonlit nights they intensify the ambient light, whilst the built-in infra-red 'torches' are helpful in complete darkness.
