On 4 August 1957, before a crowd of 200,000 at Germany's famous Nurburgring, Juan Manuel Fangio celebrated his 5th world championship title, beating his greatest rivals Mike Hawthorn and Peter Collins - both driving Ferrari 801 F1s. Fangio became a legend in the world of motor racing, and the Maserati 250F earned its place in history with a top speed of 300 km/h.
Commissioned to celebrate Maserati's 90th anniversary, our 1:18 scale model is hand-built from 1,387 parts, with an incredible degree of attention to detail including; petrol tank fastened with leather belt, highly-detailed 6-cylinder engine, removable engine hood with functioning locks, accurate cabling and pipe installation, and sweeping black metal exhaust manifold. Absolutely stunning!
