Queen's Diamond Jubilee Commemorative China - by William Edwards
To celebrate and commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2012, William Edwards has created an exclusive collection of fine bone china tableware.
There are seven items in this collection including two Limited Edition pieces, and each is hand-decorated in a delicate powder blue (inspired by the pretty pastel shades worn by Her Majesty the Queen) and embellished with 22 carat gold.
Further detail includes: a 22 carat gold silhouette of the Queen surrounded by a pearl inspired garland, gold crowns and coronets depicting those worn by the Queen throughout her reign, the Royal Coat of arms, and the National Emblems of the United Kingdom - Rose, Thistle, Shamrock and Daffodil - sit proudly amidst fine gold feather and fleur de-lys scrolling.
The pieces in this Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Collection will undoubtedly become valuable heirlooms and antiques of the future.
About William Edwards - William Edwards is one of Britain's leading ceramic designers and one of a handful dedicated to the use of traditional hand-decorating techniques that have existed in the English potteries in Stoke-On-Trent for generations.
