Our battery-heated socks were originally developed for commercial fishermen in the wintry North Atlantic, where the severe cold can cause excruciating pain and frostbite in the feet. Leisure users - helmsmen, hikers, motorcyclists and even hang-glider pilots - have been quick to discover the benefits too. A single D-cell battery (see ref 93197 below) for each sock gives up to six hours of winter-relieving bliss.

In a wool acrylic mix with a calf-mounted battery which is suitable for wearing with shoes or ankle-length boots.

Sock sizes S (UK shoe sizes 6-7.5), M (8-9.5), L (10-11.5).
