Crafted in Norfolk by Rococo exclusively for Remember Nelson, Nelson's Writing Chair has a unique historical pedigree. Some years ago, when Nelson's original chair on board HMS Victory was judged to be beyond repair, one of Rococo's craftsmen was invited to produce an exact replica which now stands in pride of place in Nelson's cabin on Victory. Who better, then, to lend his skill and craftsmanship to this new edition? Created to the exact dimensions from those original drawings, the only difference is in the material used to upholster the chair. Instead of the brown leather of the original, we have chosen the exclusive Nelson fabric used elsewhere in this collection. The chair has large pockets on either side, originally designed to 'file' Nelson's incoming and outgoing letters but now equally useful for TV remote controls, newspapers or magazines! Issued in a limited edition of just 200, each chair will be accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity. Early reservation is recommended to avoid disappointment.
