It fits many jacket pockets and most handbags, and can be easily taken and watched at the beach, or on night watches aboard a boat. It is "multi-regional", so will play DVDs from anywhere, and has four screen-size options allowing playback at full widescreen as well as standard formats. It plays CDs through the built-in stereo speakers, as well as Kodak picture CDs, DivX/MPEG4, DVD-R/RW, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 files. There is also a creditcard size remote control for main functions. Scart lead connections (included), allows playback through most televisions. The clip-on rechargeable battery pack lasts about 2.5hrs when playing DVDs (3.5 hrs for TV) - or, when available, run it from the car/boat 12volt system, or mains. Measures just 8.5" wide, 6" deep, 1.5" thick and weighs 2-lb. Multi-purpose carrying/hanging/storage bag included, with straps for mounting to the back of a car seat (or between two) and most other situations such as a boat bulkhead.
