Not just a portable DVD/DivX player with integral 8" screen, but one that can operate completely independently from external power sources, only takes about the same space as a book, and has a TV tuner/aerial for viewing on the move. Can also receive FREEVIEW.
It fits many jacket pockets and most handbags, and can be easily taken and watched at the beach, or on night watches aboard a boat. It is "multi-regional", so will play DVDs from anywhere, and has four screen-size options allowing playback at full widescreen as well as standard formats. It plays CDs through the built-in stereo speakers, as well as Kodak picture CDs, DivX/MPEG4, DVD-R/RW, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 files. There is also a creditcard size remote control for main functions. AV connector (included) allows playback through most televisions. The clip-on rechargeable battery pack lasts about 2.5hrs when playing DVDs (3.5 hrs for TV) - or, when available, run it from the car/boat 12volt system, or mains. Measures just 8½" wide, 6" deep, 1½" thick and weighs 2-lb. Multi-purpose carrying/hanging/storage bag included, with straps for mounting to the back of a car seat (or between two) and most other situations such as a boat bulkhead.
