LED torches have always been very bright, and much more energy efficient than those with conventional bulbs. But this one, besides its powerful 1.25W bulb, also has flood to spot focussing (variable from close-up wide beam to long distance narrow beam), and runs for 50hrs per set - on conventional AAA batteries (option to purchase batteries will appear in your shopping basket).
 
In spot mode it will project a convincing beam to distances well over 300ft. The anodised aircraft aluminium casing is tough and weatherproof, with a rubberised tail cap switch for constant beam or flash signalling. It's the choice of British and German police forces, and remarkable value for a torch of this power and quality.
