"Freeloader" is a pocket-sized set of solar panels with an integral lithium-ion storage battery. You can use it either to charge items directly from the sun, or (unlike other systems) charge its battery in the sun, and then use that to recharge your portable electronics when you want to (eg overnight). It's perfect for mobile phones, digital cameras, music players etc and has a whole bagful of connectors to fit just about everything. You can also give the battery a faster charge from a computer's USB socket. Closed it measures 5x2½", with solar panels out 7½ x 2½".
