Our battery-heated gloves were originally developed for commercial fishermen in the wintry North Atlantic, where the severe cold can cause excruciating pain and frostbite in the hands. Leisure users - helmsmen, hikers, motorcyclists and even hang-glider pilots - have been quick to discover the benefits too.
A single D-cell battery (see ref 93197 below) for each glove gives up to six hours of winter-relieving bliss. The use of electric heating makes gloves practical even in conditions where clumsy mittens would normally be necessary (to preserve more heat). Battery pouches sit unobtrusively on the wrist.

Sorry, heated gloves are not suitable for people with circulation problems.
