Our carefully-researched Nelson figurine, specially commissioned to mark the 250^th anniversary of his birth is representative of our greatest naval hero as he was dressed at the Battle of Trafalgar, shortly before his tragic death. The dark navy undress coat (as he usually wore at sea) shows the four orders he received during his lifetime attached to the left breast, with Flag Officer’s buttons and gold lace shoulder epaulettes to the rank of Vice Admiral. This is worn over a double-breasted Marcella waistcoat, regulation breeches and white silk stockings. The detailing is very precise, even down to the attachment of his empty right sleeve.

He stands 15” tall on a wooden base made from chunks of oak salvaged from his flagship HMS Victory, during refit - each one is unique.
