In terms of style, the materials it is made from, and the method of manufacture, this wonderful rocking horse could easily be 150 years old. Hand made in England, it is painstakingly carved from tulip wood, beautifully painted and mounted on an oak safety stand (a concession to modern toy laws). The mane and tail are of real horse hair, the miniature tack is real leather, tanned in Walsall. Each one takes eight weeks to make and is individually numbered with an engraved brass plaque.
