With quartz watches almost ubiquitous, there is something very special about a mechanical watch: somehow real cogs and gears just "feel right".

This watch is a 20 jewel movement automatic - it winds itself whenever your arm moves - with a 30 hour power reserve (you can take it off at night and it won't stop), and has an exhibition back allowing you to examine the workings through a window (as shown in the second image). The ancillary dials (clockwise from 12) indicate: month, day date, 24hr clock, year.

It has a rose gold-plated case (diameter 1.75" - this is a large watch), leather strap and is water-resistant to 100ft.
