Real-life helicopters have many advantages over planes, but are extremely difficult to fly - their fundamental desire is to spin in the opposite direction to the rotor! This model overcomes the problem by having two counter-rotating sets of blades which balance each other out, so the tail propeller only has to steer. Physics lesson over: this model is much easier to operate than most, and you will soon be taking off, flying and landing like you were born to it. Well, not making a complete hash of it, anyway...
Features lithium polymer rechargeable power pack for extended flight times (mains charger included) and comes supplied with full-function remote controls (requiring 8 AA batteries - option to purchase will appear in your shopping basket).
12" long and weighs very little - the body is made from carbon fibre - and has 'crash-friendly' rotors with encapsulating rings to protect anything you might hit. This means it is reasonably safe to use indoors, but not amongst your Ming Dynasty vases please! Flight time 10-15mins.
