Our range of journals and pencil boxes features a choice of striking imagery. The Trafalgar battle scene is a reproduction of a 32ft long panorama by William Heath (1795-1840) that would have been mounted in circular form as a 10ft diameter ring. It shows Cadiz, with the Franco-Spanish Fleet emerging; Nelson's double column line of attack from astern; the French Achilles on fire; and the death of Nelson. It is reproduced by licence from the National Maritime Museum. The flag design features Nelson's immortal signal to his men; "England Expects Every Man to do His Duty" and is also licensed by the National Maritime Museum.
