HMS Victory was launched in 1765 at Chatham Dockyard and was commissioned in 1778. She continued in active service for the next 34 years which included her most famous moment "The Battle of Trafalgar" in 1805.

She is now preserved in dry dock at Portsmouth.

This superb 1:75 scale model is made by Billings Boats of Denmark, one of the oldest and most respected ship kit makers in the world and is the largest Victory model on the market. All wood and metal materials, plank-on-frame construction with brass cannons, wooden blocks and a beautiful bronze cast figurehead. All pieces are lasercut giving incredible detail and accuracy. Full step-by-step instruction and plans.

Measures 4'5" long by 3' tall when complete.

I would have liked a more detailed description of the finished model's paint scheme in all other respects I am very happy with the product.
