Schatz is the leading manufacturer of classic ships' instruments, and one of very few that still make the mechanical chiming movements that were so familiar to the naval and merchant seaman of 100 years ago.

Provides an "at-a-glance" indication of tidal state by means of the blue hand, showing high, low and half-tide. Works by following the lunar cycle - approx 12.5hrs - thus reflecting the main influence on the tides.

Quartz movements uses one AA battery (see ref 93195 below).
