Specially designed to fit under a flight helmet, these are the very same sunglasses that have been issued to millions of US military personnel since 1958.

The precision-polished and distortion-free glass lenses were designed by the American Optical Company to maximise clarity, with special coatings to reduce glare and provide superb UV protection (98% UVA, 100% UVB).

Other treatments also make them highly impact and scratch resistant. Frames are made from nickel-alloy – strong and lightweight. They are still made in Southbridge, Massachusetts, where they always have been. Case is included.
