Ferris Wheels were the entertainment sensation of the late 19th century, originally conceived as an American rival to the Eiffel Tower. Like the originals, this precision-engineered all-metal model is carefully balanced so that each "car" stays upright during rotation of the wheel, with gearing that reduces the rotational speed to a level acceptable by its occupants.
 
It stands alone as a beautiful ornament, or can be driven by the power takeoff wheels fitted to our Stirling (featured below) and steam engines.
