Nauticalia

Commissioned to commemorate the 250^th anniversary of the birth of Admiral Lord Nelson in 1758. Produced in Limited Editions, this collection’s design uses many iconic symbols from Nelson’s life. Prominent are the four principal orders of merit bestowed on him; the Order of the Bath, The Order of St Joachim, The Order of St Ferdinand and Merit and The Order of the Crescent. The central cameo portrait is bordered by rope decoration, oak leaves and fouled anchors, a feature of the buttons on Nelson’s Uniform at Trafalgar.

All gold-coloured elements of the design are hand-gilded 22ct gold on a rich cobalt blue. Each piece comes certificated and complete with an authenticated piece of oak from Lord Nelson’s flagship HMS Victory.
