Nelson 250 Range Library Table
£695.00
97621 Nelson 250 Library Table, £695.00
2008 sees the 250th anniversary of Admiral Lord Nelson's birth, at the parsonage in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk.
To mark the occasion we have commissioned a range of items featuring oak and copper salvaged from HMS Victory (his flagship at Trafalgar) during her recent refit. The tabletop and main cross-member are made up from montages of smaller pieces of salvaged Victory oak, so no two are identical. Inset to the cross-member is a Victory copper disc stamped with a commemorative logo. Legs etc are made from solid English oak. The top measures 16" square, height 23".
This table is available only while stocks last, from a worldwide limited edition of 250. It is hand-crafted - beautifully - in England.
A royalty from the sale of the reclaimed materials goes towards future maintenance of the ship.
