An ingenious eccentric, Ettore Bugatti started his factory in Molsheim, Alsace and set the pace for the young automobile industry when he himself was still young. With his ground-breaking Type 35 in 1924, he created the most successful racing car of his era, with 1,851 grand prix victories to its name.
Our 1:18 scale model is hand-built from 926 parts, with an incredible degree of attention to detail including; highly-detailed 8-cylinder engine, two-winged folding engine hood secured with fastening leather belts, movable lever for cockpit oil pump, cable operated brake on the front axle, originally-replicated dashboard. Absolutely stunning!
