Clams for pawns, lighthouse for castles, seahorses for knights...our chess set is definitely of the sea, and beautifully furnished too. The finely detailed pieces are cast pewter, left in their natural state for one side's team and plated matt gold-effect on the other.

The mahogany-stained case has separate drawers for the two sets of pieces and measures 12" square by 3" deep.

Each piece is approximately 2" tall.
