If you always wanted to build a radio, or once did and would like to relive the experience, here's your chance. It's not strictly a kit, as the base comes pre-wired, but assembling the other components, and then hunting down radio transmissions, is unashamedly nostalgic fun. Best of all, the vacuum tube - high end 1930s technology - glows a soft orange when you're using it!
There are two interchangeable coils, for your choice of short wave or medium wave, and headphones for listening in.
