With 100mm object lenses and being light in construction, these binoculars are just about within the reasonable limits of expedition portability (and come supplied in a very substantial protective case). They are also waterproof. Their 25x magnification makes a tripod essential so we include a sturdy but lightweight full-height adjustable aluminium version. Binoculars measure 16x9"and weigh 8.5-lb. You can't expect the earth for £300, but we really don't think you will find more or better for the money.
