The power of these binoculars is adjustable between 12 and 60 times, making them suitable for a huge range of activities: from watching fast-moving wildlife on land (relatively low magnification required) to picking out the craters on the moon (high magnification required). The large, specially-coated 70mm object lenses virtually "suck in the light", so they are also unusually good at dusk and dawn. Focus and magnification adjustments are simple, and the body is rubber-coated for a good grip. At the higher magnification levels, a tripod is vital, so we include a folding desktop version as standard. Truly remarkable value - we have seen similar pairs elsewhere at nearly £300.
