This is a very advanced wildlife camera with a specification and performance similar to that used by professionals - but at a much lower price. As a result, this camera is equally well suited to less-exotic applications such as observing garden wildlife, or home security.
Powered by batteries, and triggered by infrared sensors, it needs no external power source or operation leads, so it can be located deep in the wild where the camera will capture its subjects at their most natural. Night use is facilitated by an array of 30 infrared (invisible to the eye) LEDs, with a range of 50 feet. The 5 megapixel sensor can be set to record single or triple “burst mode” images, or video with sound, onto an SD card (2GB supplied) for viewing on your computer.
Uses 8xAA batteries for an operational life of up to one year (depending on use). Water-resistant case measures 5.8x4.2x2” and can be padlocked.
