Newtonian reflector telescopes reflect starlight to the eyepiece via two precision mirrors. The 130mm primary mirror of this model collects a massive 369% more precious starlight than a typical 60mm telescope for brighter, clearer images, allowing a much wider range of fascinating night sky objects to be viewed. 

The lenses supplied offer a magnification range of 36-180x, with a focal length of 900mm (f/6.92), and a red-dot finder helps you quickly home in on points of interest. The motor-driven equatorial mount both counteracts the effect of the Earth's rotation, allowing you to stay focussed on a particular area of the night sky for longer, and can be used to control the direction of the telescope.
