This motorised parabolic Newtonian reflector telescope is our choice as best all round astronomy telescope at a sensible price. The parabolic mirror (usually only fitted to very high end instruments) brings all the light rays to the same focal point for sharp, contrasty images which are full of detail, whilst minimising the tube length for a telescope of this power (so it doesn't take up your whole house!). Its red dot finder makes orientation very simple, and the motorised Equatorial mount then makes it easier to track stars in one continuous arc motion. The optics included as standard give a good selection of magnifications from 20 to 100 times. Also included is an extendable aluminium tripod with accessory tray, height variable from 27 to 49".
