Bumble bees have been in decline for several years – indeed some species are now gone – through loss of habitat. They’re generally easygoing, unaggressive types (because they’re not protecting honey) so they can be positively welcomed to your garden, and once established will help pollinate almost all plants from roses and geraniums to fruit trees.
 
This attractive ceramic nester gives them a safe, dry home, designed to minimise condensation and help them keep clean.
