Nesting 9ft Classic Clinker Dinghy
£1850.00
99944B Classic Clinker Dinghy, £1850.00
With her clinker-effect hull and optional lugsail rig this traditional-looking dinghy could come from the pages of Swallows & Amazons. Her deep and beamy hull is very stable for a boat of this size, making her confidence-inspiring but also rewarding to row or sail. She is big enough for a family day out, but still small enough for two to launch/retrieve easily (and its possible on your own). The glassfibre hull and oiled wood trim, combined with the ability to keep her tucked away in the corner somewhere under cover, means she looks great but will require very little maintenance.
Prices: from £1,850 for a wood-trimmed glassfibre rowing version, to approx £3,500 for a high-spec sailing version. Towbar-mount platform is also available at £300.
Typical build time 6-8 weeks; delivery cost not included - depends on distance from builders workshop near Christchurch in Dorset. Please call 01932 235550 for further information and pricing.
About Nestaway Boats - Nestaway makes a unique range of sectional boats, designed for easier transport and storage. The pieces hook and bolt together, tool-free, in a couple of minutes and, once assembled create proper boat-shaped, rigid structures that are far more efficient to row or sail than inflatable or folding dinghies. Originally developed by a mad inventor in a shed (his own description!) who wanted a decent yacht tender but only had limited deck space, the company has since also found much custom amongst the owners of campers and caravans, who can carry the sections inside or on the back (using a towbar platform).
