In 1947, manufacture of the first post-war RT3s started, based on an AEC chassis. RT597 was bodied by Weymann and was the first RT to enter Country service in July 1948, operating on route 301 out of Tring garage with its distinctive green and cream livery. This is a very high quality model with lots of detail including opening bonnet, poseable wheels and intricate chassis.
