Like so much that is to do with Bugatti, the statistics of the 1932 Roadster Esders read like fiction, but are fact.
 
A 24 valve, eight cylinder engine of 12.8 litres capacity; 300hp; top speed over 100mph; length over 20ft; weight over 3 tons. Only six of the planned 25 were made, and this Esders model (built for a French textile manufacturer) had many unique features including the extravagant paintwork, folding dickey seat, and “missing” headlamps – he stated “he did not drive at night”.

This 1:18 scale model is spectacular, made from nearly 1,400 parts and 18 different materials. Pretty much every feature that is possible to replicate at this scale (and many you’d think impossible) is detailed.
