You probably thought tin-plate toys like this weren’t made any more – but we found this lovely box set at a low-tech factory in the Czech Republic. It’s a delightfully old-fashioned tractor, complete with seven separate towing attachments for carrying livestock, ploughing, sowing, rolling and so on.

The 1:25 scale tractor is powered by a wind up motor which operates the accessory functions – just insert the key into the wheel hub and turn. It’s all very agricultural (in both senses of the word), right down to the weightily- sprung mechanical gearbox selector and working steering.

The whole package, and indeed the packaging, could easily come from the 1940s.
