This miniature car is powered by the sun, and a great way to learn about how solar energy works as you build it from scratch.
 
Assemble motor and chassis, affix the wheels, make up the gearbox and attach the solar panel – then watch it go!

It reaches speeds of up to 10 feet per second and will ascend slopes up to 30 degrees. And if it’s cloudy, just flick the switch to move to battery power (uses one AA battery, see ref:93195 or alternatively the option to purchase AA batteries will appear in your shopping basket). Assembled length 8”.
