Churchill produced over 500 works and this comprehensive book provides the political-historical and personal background as to when and why they were painted. It also includes many rare photos of Churchill in private, both colour and black and white. Co-authored by David Coombs, the art critic and writer who catalogued Churchill's paintings shortly after his death in 1965, and Minnie Churchill, his granddaughter-in-law and current chair of the Churchill Heritage organisation.
