The Bf109 was the mainstay fighter of the Luftwaffe during WWII, and was powered by an inverted Daimler Benz V12 engine, making it fast and agile.
It was also compact, easy to repair, rugged, and heavily armed over 33,000 had been produced by 1945.
This G6 version was flown by Major Hermann Graf, the Group Commander of JG 50 which was set up in 1943 to combat RAF Mosquito reconnaissance aircraft. Graf is credited with 212 victories over the Eastern Front, and a further 10 over the Western Front. Sporting its distinctive red nose, this highly detailed model features removable engine cover, working undercarriage and moving rudder and flaps.

about the product, it seems quite fabulous. actually there is a point, i woul like to mention. when i opened the box, i tried landing gear of BF109G-6. It is a little hard for opening and closing for left side. then after a moment it couldn't be closed, and after i forced and left side landing gear...
