Nelson - China Collection
NOW from £19.53
Specially commissioned china to commemorate the bicentenary of Admiral Lord Nelson's victory at the Battle of Trafalgar, this range of fine bone china draws its inspiration from the world's leading repository of Nelson artefacts the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich. The paintings, Nelson's signature, and his coat of arms are used only by special permission of the museum's director, Rear-Admiral Roy Clare. The elaborate scrolls are derived from the decorative stern gilding and upper deck trelliswork on HMS Victory; the anchor motif is from the coat buttons of the uniform Nelson wore at Trafalgar. All gold-coloured elements of the design are 22ct gold. This beautiful range is handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, and the quality is superb.
