Using a plane is nearly always preferable to sanding or filing, enabling you to keep a square edge and take off the high spots without touching the lows. But there are often awkward and/or small jobs where your everyday tools won’t fit, hence this miniature set of three planes consisting of bull nose, block and scraper varieties each measuring approx 3” long.
