Designed by Sir Nigel Gresley, the Class J39 was introduced in 1926 and became the standard 0-6-0 goods locomotive, proving to be both versatile and powerful. 289 were built over a 15 year period which made it the most prolific of Gresley’s designs, but sadly none survive today.
LNER matt black livery with distinctive red lining – includes smoke generators.
Very Limited Edition of only 50 models, individually numbered.
