Designed by Nigel Gresley, the Class J39 was introduced in 1926 and became the LNER standard 0-6-0 goods locomotive, proving to be both versatile and powerful. 289 were built over a 15 year period which made it the most prolific of Gresleys designs, but sadly none survive today. Number 1532 is pictured in LNER matt black livery with distinctive red lining.
Limited Edition of 50, individually numbered. Length 19".
