This special Cutty Sark commemorative series was commissioned to celebrate the beginning of her latest restoration, and help raise funds. The decoration is inspired by original Cutty Sark features, including the carved swirls at her bow and stern, the Star of India from her transom (bearing the legend "Heavens Light Our Guide") and, appropriately "Where there's a will is a way". It's all beautifully detailed and there are extensive applications of real gold leaf to contrast with the deep mottled blue panels. Fine bone china, made in England. 5 percent of the proceeds from the sale of this commemorative china goes to the Cutty Sark Fund. If you would like to make further donations, please see below.
