Old Pulteney 21 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
£84.99
97093 21 Year Old Whisky, £84.99
Established in 1826, at the town of Wick, Old Pulteney is the most northerly distillery on the mainland, and at that time was only accessible by sea. The ingredients and finished product were shipped in and out by boat, and many of the distillery workers were also fishermen. Much of the original equipment is still used. The spirit matures in specially-selected bourbon or sherry casks, gently absorbing the Northern Scottish sea breeze until the distillery manager decides it is time for bottling.
