If you find that modern manufactured items seem a bit insubstantial and/or fussy, this Swedish-designed
combination clock and mechanical timer is a beautiful and practical antidote, harking back to the age of products that were "built to last". Its casing is cast in thick aluminium, with a stainless steel back, housing classically simple cream-faced dials with large clear Arabic numerals. The 60 minute mechanical timer is held in with a magnet, so can be left in its housing or taken with you elsewhere in the house if you're unlikely to hear it.
Case measures 10 x 7 x 2", clock uses one AA battery (see 93195 below), keyhole-type wall mounting.
