One of the most iconic and recognised cars on British television, this 1960 Jaguar Mk2 2.4 litre mode lcar was bought by Carlton Television specifically for the Inspector Morse series and appeared in all 33 episodes being driven by actor John Thaw.

Originally rescued from a scrapyard, the Jaguar was described by Thaw as ‘a beggar to drive’ and frequently had to be pushed into position for filming after breaking down!

After being raffled off by Carlton in 2001 and passing through several owners, the car finally had a full nut and bolt restoration taking 3 years and costing in excess of £100,000.

The original Jaguar Mk2 is faithfully recreated in great detail, and has poseable wheels, opening doors, bonnet and boot.
