DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) is now available to most of the UK, advantages being better sound quality, more station choice and easier tuning. This compact portable radio receives both DAB and conventional FM signals (backup in the few non-DAB areas), with several power options for added flexibility of use: three AA alkaline batteries* or rechargeable batteries (supplied) that can be charged by the built-in solar panel on top, or mains (adapter supplied); or direct operation from the mains.

Other features include one touch station selection, Line in socket for iPod / MP3 playback and headphone socket. It has fine sound and build quality, as you would expect from a Roberts.
