Nauticalia

Stationed in the Mediterranean during the early 1800s, these heavily armed 32-footers with lateen-sail and 10 rowing positions were designed to be fast under sail or oar. The British Navy used them for raids where rapid manoeuvrability was required, and to keep the enemy away from their main fleet if possible. Our detailed display model has two 1/2-lb and one 4-lb cannon (all in brass) on deck, together with powder charges, cannonballs and cleaning tools. Length overall 25", height 20". Fully-assembled, but you have to raise the rig!
