Concorde South Coast Print - Possibly the Worlds Most Expensive Promotional Photograph*
97098 Concorde Print, £289.00
***Limited Edition of 250***
In a formation that can scarcely be believed to be real, this photograph was taken on Christmas Eve 1985 to celebrate Concordes 10 years of commercial service and the accumulation of 71,000 supersonic flying hours.
It features four British Airways Concordes in flight over the south coast. Bearing in mind that it cost more than £250,000 each just to get the aircraft off the ground, and it was taken from a Learjet with optically-corrected replacement windows, this could be the most expensive promotional photoshoot ever.
Framed, with British Airways To Fly, To Serve crest, crew members names, and signed by Captains Brian Walpole and Jock Lowe it is one of a Limited Edition of just 250, with numbered certificate. Measures 25x21.
*Perhaps NASA will correct us on that one, but we can't think of any others!
